No need to leave them home alone with just one or two visits from a dog walker while you're away all day. Regular physical activity boosts their mood by releasing endorphins, known as "happy hormones", finding contentment and joy in everyday moments. EXPANDING THEIR HORIZON: Puppies can learn socialization and expanding their trust in another person to care for them and to trust themselves in a new environment. Middle and senior age dogs can enjoy a home away from home while having constant companionship, physical and mental stimulation. Dogs are social creatures, and building meaningful relationships contributes to their happiness.
Quantity of dogs in a group are kept very small, generally four, always keeping safety in mind.
Nestled in the suburbs of Yardley-Morrisville, PA is my prestigiously manicured and fenced property. On The BALL exclusively offers the ultimate off leash, homestyle canine suburban doggie daycare. My pups love running around and playing hide and seek around my perennials, shed and evergreen trees including relaxing, catching a breeze and sniffing too. Always included is time for snuggling!
Pickup and dropoff from and to your home starts @$5 each way.
ENRICHMENT: If your dog is older or has special needs and looking for a more serene atmosphere they can enjoy a nice quiet time at my home sunbathing outdoors or resting indoors on my canine friendly living room sofa and doggie beds. I specialize in introducing new experiences to senior dogs who haven’t had an opportunity in their lifetime to learn about how much they love a chance to experience a change of environment. Dogs are curious no matter their age. I adore seniors and incorporate calmness for their overall well-being in their experience here in my home. Their choices are fully respected and paid attention to whether they need their space from the other dogs, or they are so curious to watch and be entertained from a comfortable distance. They will be catered to💛

On The Ball requires all dog owners interested in this service to complete "One Paid Preliminary Behavioral Evaluation".
All daycare dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines: DAPP (a.k.a. DHPP) vaccine, Rabies vaccine, Leptospirosis annual vaccine and Bordetella (formerly called canine kennel cough) vaccine. In addition, your dog is required to be on continuous parasite prevention medicine year round. This covers them for external parasites like fleas and ticks, as well as internal parasites like heartworm and intestinal worms.

Sleepovers in my home (homestyle boarding/lodging) are the perfect option for round the clock care for the right fit between your dog and my home.

If you can relate with this sentiment then you have an alternative option in homestyle dog lodging in my home. In addition is the benefit of a lower cost than an overnight pet sitter in your home - a perfect match!
All meal plans welcome. Fresh, raw, freeze dried, canned, prescription food, add warm filtered water? Absolutely! Your dog will enjoy their meals exactly as they do at their own home with you. Filtered drinking water only? Hand feed them their meds morning and evening to be sure they have actually ingested them? I am at your service! No extra fee for administering medications. Climate controlled home environment.

Bird lovers - On The Ball Is For The Birds!!
Caring for your pet bird includes basic changing and cleaning of food and water bowls, providing the necessary social interaction, enjoying in-cage companionship. Your bird can enjoy my inexpert singing too!
It goes without saying that watching for signs of sickness while you are away is of highest priority since birds instinctually hide illness until it is critical and finally insuring that your house thermostat is at a relatively comfortable temperature.

Hamster, Guinea Pigs, Guinea Hens & Rabbit Visits in your home; Boarding in my home for Hamsters & Guinea Pigs only
Small Mammal lovers - I am happy to visit in your home or board in my home. When boarding, my smaller guests are kept in a calm and quiet room, separate from my more rambunctious and vocal four legged friends. Climate controlled home environment.
I provide animals with fresh water that is changed daily and pets are fed per owners directions. Owners are welcome to pack fruits and vegetables for pets to enjoy during their stay when boarding. For the continued comfort of the animals, cages are also cleaned daily, and I monitor pets to ensure they’re safe and happy while here.
Hamsters, as one example, need to be handled regularly. A hamster that is gently played with every day will be significantly calmer and friendlier than a hamster that is rarely played with.
Pet owner provides all necessities – food, bedding, cage, ball, etc.. Only bin cages will be accepted for hamster boarding or the Prevue 528. Fully clean your pet's cage and replace soiled bedding the day before boarding. Double-check all locking elements of your cage to ensure they are in good working order. Make sure that doors fit and lock snugly and that no loose or damaged portions of your cage exist. I interact with your pet every day, but respect their sleeping pattern. Some small mammals should not be handled when they are resting or sleeping, unless absolutely necessary as they can find this stressful.
Your pet may eat various foods such as fresh vegetables, fruits, dry food, and some protein to keep them going and Timothy hay daily. I discard any fruits or vegetables not eaten within 24 hours to prevent harmful bacterial growth.
